Bazel Less Lenovo Z5 Design Revealed, suggests 95% Screen Space
According to the recent teaser tossed up by the Lenovo Group VP Chang Cheng, the company is planning to launch new flagship in June. He has also mentioned that the device will be having the highest screen-to-body ratio in a smartphone ever. In that teaser, the name and design got confirmed, the smartphone will be launching as Lenovo Z5 next month and the new teaser claims that it will feature a screen-to-body ratio of more than 95 percent.
The company also reported that there is no more ZUK branded phone lineup as of now. As the company is speculating the highest screen-to-body display, the smartphone is clearly a rival of Xiaomi MIX, MIX2, and Mi MIX 2S. The Z5’s sketch (shown in the image above) shows that it will offer largest screen space ever seen on a smartphone as it does not feature top and bottom bezels. The presence of antenna bands on the left edge of the phone suggests that it may feature a metallic body as well. The bottom side of the device is expected to feature a USB-C port.
As indicated by Cheng, the organization has accomplished four technological leaps forward and 18 patented technologies through the Lenovo Z5. He had beforehand expressed that the organization has figured out how to incorporate a comprehensive screen on its next flagship smartphone by lessening the space taken by camera, bezels and reception antenna bands.
Since Cheng has claimed that Lenovo Z5 has four technological breakthroughs, it appears that the phone may come with some advanced features like an under-display fingerprint scanner, in-screen earpiece, and flip-up selfie camera. Officially, there are no specs revealed, and we have to wait little more to know more about the device.
