Huawei Y6 2018 official with Full-View 18:9 Display and Android Oreo
Last month, Huawei has launched its four-cameras smartphone, called Huawei Y9 2018. Recently, The company launched its flagship smartphone called Huawei P20 and Huawei P20 Pro. Now the company launched another member of Y series, called Huawei Y6 2018. It’s a budget range smartphone with decent specs on board.
Huawei Y6 2018 mid-range smartphone features a 5.7-inch S-IPS display with 720 x 1440 pixels of resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. It supports ~75.4% screen-to-body ratio and offers 282 PPI density. It is powered by Octa-core CPU under the hood which clocks at 1.8 GHz Cortex-A53 along with Qualcomm Snapdragon 450. The Y6 2018 has 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB internal storage along with micro SD card slot on board that supports up to 256 GB. It comes with Adreno 506 GPU for the better graphics experience while playing games and videos. The screen of the phone might actually perform like an FHD+ display with this GPU.
The Y6 2018 featured with a 13-megapixel camera on the back side with phase detection autofocus and LED flash. At the first glance, you might be thought that there are dual camera sensors on the back side but there is LED flash. On the front side, there is the 5-megapixel camera with some AR features for selfies and video calling. At the bottom of back penal, there is a company logo, unfortunately, there is no fingerprint scanner on the phone. But the company suggests that the phone come with Face unlock feature.
The phone is packed with Non-removable Li-Ion 3000 mAh battery and runs on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system out of the box along with EMUI 8.0 UI running on top. The Huawei Y6 2018 is available in Black, Gold and Blue color options. The company does not reveal the price of the phone, but it is expected to be available at around $150 price tag.
There is no doubt that the Huawei Y6 2018 smartphone is offering amazing specs under the hood. The specs are pretty good on paper, we have wait to see how the phone will perform in the real world. The company already announced the phone in Philippines and Russia.
