Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 launched with massive 5000 mAh battery and 8.1 Oreo
A Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer, Asus has launched its new mid-range smartphone at a launch event in Delhi, India, called Ausu ZenFone Max Pro M1. The new smartphone comes with a massive battery inside the body, trendy 18:9 aspect ratio screen, dual camera sensors on the back side and greate selfie camera with LED flash. It looks like the company launched this phone against Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 5 Pro in India. Both the phones have similar specs on board.
The new mid-range Asus ZneFone Max Pro M1 comes with 6-inch IPS display that supports 1080 x 2160pixels of resolution and offers 18:9 aspect ratio. The display is protected by 2.5D arc glass, it supports 450-nits brightness, 85 percent NTSC color gamut and a contrast ratio of 1500:1.
Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset and probably Octa-Core CPU just like the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro. The top model of the ZenFone Max Pro M1 has 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB internal storage option along with micro SD card slot on board. Asus tested the phone on AnTuTu platform and it scored 116618 points, during the event company claimed that the new Zenfone Max Pro M1 is 54% faster than the Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 5 Pro smartphone.
Asus ZB601KL model number smartphone featured with vertically placed dual camera sensors on the back side along with LED flash. There is a 13-megapixel main camera with f/2.2 aperture and 5-megapixel secondary camera for depth sensing. The rear camera of the phone offers phase detection, fast autofocus and 4K video recording. While on the front side, it has an 8-megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash for taking amazing selfies and video calling.
Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 is the first phone from the company that offers pure Android OS experience, usually, Asus phones come with ZenUI. There are no words for the Android One OS, the phone still comes with Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. Which means it has pre-installed apps and features by Asus. During the announcement event, the company also mentioned that it will update the phone to Android Q when the new Android version will be released.
One of the main highlighted features of the ZenFone Max Pro M1 is Battery capacity. It is packed with massive 5,000 mAh capacity inside the body that offers up to 25.3 hours of Full HD video playback, up to 199 hours of music playback up to 28 hours of Wi-Fi browsing and up to 42 hours of 3G talk time. The phone also supports 10W fast charging feature that allows users to fully charge the phone in just 2.42 hours. While the Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 5 Pro take 3.2 hours to charge full its 4,000 mAh battery with the same charging completely.
The company also claims that its phone is the worlds thinnest smartphone that packed with 5,000 mAh battery inside the body. The body dimensions of the ZenFone Max Pro M1 are 159 x 76 x 8.61mm and it weighs 180 grams. It features a metal body.
In terms of connectivity, Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 comes with dual SIM 4G LTE, micro USB 2.0, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm audio jack. The phone also comes with a fingerprint sensor on the back side. The ZenFone Max Pro M1 offers impressive audio with 5-magnet speaker and NXP smart amplifier. The company also offers Max Box passive amplifier accessory for the phone.
The base model of the Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 will be available at Rs. 10,999 (~$165) price tag, while the 64 GB ROM and 4GB RAM model will be available at Rs. 12,999 (~$195) price tag. And the top model 6GB of RAM and 64 GB storage ZenFone Max Pro M1 will be available at 14,999 (~$225) price tag. The phone will be available exclusively via Flipkart from May 3. It will available in Deepsea Black and Gray color option.
